How To Conquer the World

What will be left behind when humanity vanishes from the surface of the earth? Abandoned stations, schools and plants create a post-apocalyptic landscape of the world without people. Only voices from the past, woven into the soundtrack, momentarily bring these places back to life. Tomasz Wolski, in his short documentary essay, moves away from the archival footage which he used in recent years to make his award-winning films. This time the director presents a bitter vision of the future without / of man, the future which already begins to look concerningly familiar.
