It begins with a drawer opened by accident. Rotem, a young filmmaker discovers the hidden archive of her late grandmother, Yehudit: yellowed letters, piles of photographs, and 8mm reels she filmed over the years, capturing a seemingly happy family in 1960s Tel Aviv. While the filmmaker is captivated by this treasure, her mother, Varda, resists.
