The viewer follows a group of Russian-speaking residents of Estonia crossing the state border. Their journey is gradually turning into a portrait of a region where tension between two linguistic and ethnic communities has persisted for decades, and the war in Ukraine has revived old fears, historical traumas and questions of belonging.
