15,000 years ago, in the Pleistocene epoch, shortly before the end of the last ice Age, two saber-toothed tigers and a certain "singular" creature were born in a cave. Too different from the rest, it finds itself exiled and spends its life searching for its place, adapting to a changing world. This is a story of time and adaptation.
