Real is unreal

In a Wuxia world, the female assassin Mingyue completes her mission to kill the painter Chuanshan on a rainy night, only to realize that her own end is near. In another parallel reality, a blocked female writer struggles with whether to grant her fictional protagonist, also named Mingyue, a different fate in her new novel. By a 1990s pond, a young girl wakes up and yearns to return to the dream that has already vanished. These three intertwined narratives form a complete, nested circular structure, intensively condensing Eastern and Western symbols of illusion and reality.
