Juan spends her days caring for her younger brother, whose body is slowly stiffening. Tasked with exterminating insects that feed on fish, she patrols the riverbank. What she finds instead is the lower half of an unidentified corpse. That very day, her brother disappears, leading Juan to suspect that the remains may belong to him.
