International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) dates back to 1972 and presents independent cinema and audiovisual art in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Alongside screenings, its year-round programme includes talks, exhibitions and educational activities. Its support for filmmakers includes the CineMart co-production market, Hubert Bals Fund and Rotterdam Lab. Art Directions covers immersive media, installations and audiovisual performance.
The 56th edition runs from 28 January to 7 February 2027. IFFR Pro Days run from 29 January to 3 February, with CineMart and Darkroom from 31 January to 3 February.
