Bucheon International Animation Festival

Poster by Beyond C. (c) In 1999, the Bucheon Int'l Animation Festival (BIAF) embarked on its journey as the sole animation festival in Asia. BIAF have competitions of 6 categories - Feature, Short, Graduation, TV&Commissioned, Korean Short and VR. The 23rd BIAF is held 22-26 October at Bucheon City, South Korea. BIAF is an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival. BIAF Grand Prize will be eligible for consideration in the Animated Short Film category of the Academy Award®.
