Thessaloniki International Film Festival
The Thessaloniki International Film Festival presents Greek and international cinema in Thessaloniki, with competitions centred on first and second features and a separate Immersive/XR strand. Its history begins with the Week of Greek Cinema in 1960. The programme combines new work with retrospectives, special screenings and films for younger audiences; the Olympion on Aristotelous Square is the festival’s home.
Agora connects filmmakers and producers with co-production partners and film industry professionals, focusing on Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean. Its activities include the Crossroads Co-production Forum and presentations of films in post-production. The 67th edition’s dates are 5–15 November 2026, with Agora’s industry programme running separately on 6–14 November 2026.
