Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free. And soon we will start promoting films through various channels to help them reach a wider audience and get the love 🥰

Most films are available online only years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down. On Vurchel, you can be notified when a film becomes available to watch online.

Since its creation in 2012, our event aims to promote and defend independent cinema from all over the world. Our 8th edition will held from 15-21 Octobre, 2019. Olivier Assayas, Yorgos Lanthimos, Mia Hansen-Løve, Arnaud Desplechin, Jean-Pierre Léaud, Abel Ferrara, Nathalie Baye, Céline Sciamma, Abdellatif Kechiche, Virginie Despentes, Jonathan Caouette, Kleber Mendonça Filho, Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Corneliu Porumboiu, Denis Côté are some of the guests who were welcomed during our past edition.
