Film Fest Petaluma pairs international short films with conversations with their makers at the historic Mystic Theatre in downtown Petaluma, California. Produced by Petaluma Film Alliance, a partnership involving Santa Rosa Junior College and the local community, the festival connects film education with public screenings. Its selection spans animation, live action, documentary and experimental work under 30 minutes, with priority consideration for films represented by a cast or crew member at the screening.
Travel grants are available to invited filmmakers, and an audience award recognizes a selected short. The announced dates for the 2027 edition are 30 April–1 May 2027, with Mystic Theatre listed as the venue.
