The aim of the International Halicarnassus Film Festival, rewarding the quality of short films of world cinema, filmmakers, and creators to offer support to produce new movies, films, our industry to lead the aesthetic and technical development and contribute to the recognition. The committee includes directors, screenwriters, and artists who are devoted to cinema and visual arts. Halicarnassus Film Festival is an IMDb-qualifying festival. Halicarnassus Film Festival has 3 sections. 2-Months Session – International Halicarnassus Film Festival (every 2-months) National Halicarnassus Film Festival (one-time a year, planned in 2021 due to the Covid-19. It includes feature films as well.) International Halicarnassus Film Festival (It is done once a year with the application of 2-month winners and international filmmakers. It includes feature films as well. Planned in 2021 due to the Covid-19) The nominees and winners of the “2-Months Session – International” are showed in Bodrum, Turkey in every two months. Seats are limited because of the Covid-19 public places rules. With the decision of the Halicarnassus Film Festival Committee, the winners are decided and announced. The winners of “2-Months Session – International” will be automatically participated in the International Halicarnassus Film Festival.
