Seoul Indie-AniFest focuses on independent animation from Korea and across Asia. Its Korean competitions distinguish independently produced films in Independent Walk, student films in First Flight, and work created for online release in Web Animation. ASIA ROAD presents Asian animation outside Korea, while MIRINAE ROAD is the competition for feature-length work from Korea and Asia.
The Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers Association organizes the festival in Seoul with an executive committee and the participation of independent animation filmmakers. The programme also includes Korean and Asian panoramas, invited screenings, seminars and workshops, with an emphasis on experimentation and exchange around contemporary independent animation.
