The Festival Internacional de Cine de las Yungas (FICY) is an environmental film festival in Tafí Viejo, in the Argentine province of Tucumán, that takes its name from the Yungas forests of the region. It is organised by the municipality’s Culture Secretariat through CAMTV, the Tafí Viejo Municipal Audiovisual Centre, and dates back to 2016.

The festival has two official strands. The Nina Velárdez International Competition, named in tribute to the guardian of the local hills, screens environmental short films from around the world. The second strand produces environmental shorts with primary and secondary schools of Tafí Viejo: pupils write, storyboard and shoot their own films in workshops, while the festival’s technical team handles post-production. Talks, an environmental fair, stop-motion workshops and the LABINTUC documentary lab accompany the screenings. The festival’s 9th edition dates from 2024.
