Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosur

Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul (FAM) is a film festival in Florianópolis, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, devoted to the cinema of Brazil and the other Mercosur countries. The Associação Cultural Panvision founded it in 1997 and still organises it. Its competitive sections cover feature films, short films, shorts from Santa Catarina, films for children and young audiences, music videos and an online selection; winners receive the Panvision Trophy from official and audience juries, alongside prizes in services from supporting companies.

Next to the screenings, the Mercosur Co-production Meeting (ECM+LAB) brings feature and series projects together with broadcasters, streaming services, distributors and markets for pitches and one-to-one meetings, and the Fórum Audiovisual Mercosul hosts debates on audiovisual policy. The 31st edition is set for 2–8 September 2027 in Florianópolis.
