Fête de l'anim'

Fête de l'anim' is an animation festival created in 2004 in Lille and organised by Rencontres Audiovisuelles. It covers animation in all its forms, from short and feature films to virtual reality, and addresses both the general public and professionals, with particular attention to higher-education animation schools and to production in the Hauts-de-France region. Alongside screenings, the programme includes masterclasses, meetings with filmmakers, workshops, a Nuit de l'animation and a Village des Enfants for families.

The 17th and last edition took place from 19 to 28 November 2021 in Lille, Marcq-en-Barœul, Amiens and Arenberg Creative Mine in Wallers, with Jérémy Clapin as guest of honour and a focus on Satoshi Kon. In 2022 Fête de l'anim' became part of the International Short Film Festival of Lille.
