Artkino is a Russian national competition of auteur short films, founded in 2008 and organised in Moscow by the creative association Mir Iskusstva together with the Arteria Kino film school; its president is the director Sergei Tyutin. The competition is open to fiction, documentary, animated and experimental films up to 30 minutes by film school students and graduates, independent authors and established directors from Russia and the CIS, in Russian or in the languages of Russia with Russian subtitles. Fiction films compete in three length categories: up to 10, 20 and 30 minutes.

The festival runs in two stages: a Moscow competition with screenings, master classes and honorary prizes for contribution to auteur cinema, then a Final Round that tours the competition programmes to cities across Russia and the CIS, where audience voting and the Short Film Academy decide the Grand Prix and the Audience Award. The dates of the 15th edition in Moscow are 17–24 November 2025.

Films should be made no earlier than the year before the festival; exceptions are set in the annex to the regulations. One author may submit no more than two films. Submission carries an entry fee of 1,000 roubles.
