The Québec City Film Festival (Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec, FCVQ) is the film festival of Quebec's capital, gathering audiences since 2011. Its programme mixes fiction and documentary, features and shorts, Quebec productions and international works, with numerous premieres. Screenings take place in venues such as Le Diamant, Méduse and Cinéma Beaumont, together with free open-air screenings at Place D'Youville.

The selection is built around five themes: identity, immigration, gender equality, the environment and Indigenous perspectives. Feature films and short films compete for juried and audience awards, among them the FCVQ Grand Prize, the Best Quebec Film Award and the Jean-Marc-Vallée Audience Award. More than 150 filmmakers and other professionals attend each edition for discussions, Q&As and master classes, and the FCVQ Campus offers emerging talent workshops and networking. The dates of the 15th edition are 9–13 September 2026.
