AniMakers, known in Russian as MultPraktika, is an international animation festival in Voronezh organised by the Voronezh Animation Studio. It is built as a practicum: besides competition screenings of animation for children, teenagers and families, its programme includes master classes, lectures, round tables, creative meetings with professionals of the animation industry, outdoor screenings in city parks and an open pitching of animation projects.

The competition has international sections for feature films, short films and animated series, a national competition of films made with artificial intelligence and a contest of school animation from CIS countries; student works compete for their own prize. Submission is free. The festival dates back to 2023. The main events of the 2026 edition run from 22 to 24 May 2026, preceded by open-air park screenings from 15 May.

Jury awards of the 2026 edition: Grand Prize; Best Film for Toddlers; Best Film for Children; Best Film for Teenagers; Best Film for Adults; Best Short Film; Best Feature Film; Best Series; Best Student Work; Best School Work; Best AI Film; Best Pitching Project; Special Jury Prize. Winners receive diplomas and commemorative prizes; all selected participants receive electronic certificates.

Festival rules

Rules of the 2026 edition (Regulations of the IV festival): - Entry is free for all programmes. Films are submitted through the forms on the festival website or on FilmFreeway. - Competition sections: international feature films, international short films, international animated series, national competition of AI-made animation films, school animation from CIS countries. - Films completed after 1 January 2024, in any technique, including works made with artificial intelligence. - Running time: short films 1 to 25 minutes; feature films 52 to 120 minutes; series: a pilot episode (up to 45 minutes) or one season. - Individual entrants must be 18 or older; student teams and professional studios may enter. Student works are those made while studying at a university or college; the status is stated in the entry. - AI-made films: only from citizens of Russia aged 18 or older, with a list of the AI tools used. - Russian films in the original language (English subtitles desirable); foreign films in English or with English subtitles. - Screening copy for selection: MP4 (H.264), at least 1920x1080, 25 fps, link for viewing or download. - Unfinished films are not accepted. Winners of the previous edition may only be shown out of competition. - No screening fees are paid for selected films.
