Lebanese Film Festival

The Lebanese Film Festival LFF was created in 2001 to allow Lebanese filmmakers to showcase their films, meet with their audience and acquire basic financial support for their future projects. Each year the festival features over 60 films. PLEASE NOTE - THE LEBANESE FILM FESTIVAL IS DEDICATED ONLY TO LEBANESE FILMMAKERS AND TO FOREIGN DIRECTORS WHO TARGET A LEBANESE TOPIC OF ANY KIND. The Lebanese Film Festival is comprised of four competition categories (First Film; Fiction Film; Documentary and Experimental) and one non-competition section. This section is dedicated to foreign directors who target a Lebanese topic of any kind. No specific running time is required. This year's edition features an homage to women in cinema and a special collaboration with FFFMed, Films Femmes Francophones Mediterannée, a screenwriting program that aims to welcome women filmmakers from French countries or communities in the Mediterranean in order to allow them to develop their film projects.
