Le Plein de Super
Le Plein de Super is a touring short film festival run by the association La Boite Carrée. Its converted bus carries an open-air screen on its side, and screenings take place outdoors in villages and small towns. The festival was born in 2015–2016, when the team took the bus on a tour of Portugal; since 2020 the tour has run only in France, in the west of the country. Each year's programme brings together fiction and documentary shorts from around the world.
After each screening, viewers write a postcard to the director of the film they liked best; these postcards decide the audience award, and the winning film is shown before features in partner cinemas for a week in December. The 11th edition runs from 27 June to 28 August 2026, with 24 screenings ending in Paimbœuf; La Boite Carrée presents it as the last tour of Le Plein de Super, as the association moves to Brest.
