Multimatograf connects multimedia art with demoscene culture in Vologda, Russia. Its archive includes competitions for animated films, music videos, video art and live-action shorts, alongside workshops, exhibitions and projection mapping. The festival’s current demoparty format centres on computer graphics, music and programmed visual effects for both historical and modern computers. Realtime contests and ZX Spectrum live coding make the creative process part of the programme, while spectators in the venue and online vote for competition entries.
The dates of the 2026 edition are 25–26 April at the Salyut, Molodyozh! creative space, 12 Lenin Street, Vologda. Its programme includes a retrocomputer exhibition and screenings of demoscene works.
