La Matatena – International Film Festival for Children (...and Not So Children)

Live dubbing helps young audiences discover films from Mexico and around the world at La Matatena’s International Film Festival for Children (...and Not So Children). Organised by La Matatena, A.C. in Mexico City, the festival dates back to 1995. Its programme includes animated and live-action features and shorts, documentaries, and films made by children. A children’s jury chooses the competition winners, while screenings of work created in the association’s animation workshops connect filmmaking with watching films.
