The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival explores fantastic cinema through international features and shorts, from horror and science fiction to surrealism and magical realism. Organised in Strasbourg, France, by the non-profit association Les Films du Spectre, it pairs new productions with retrospectives and film heritage screenings. Crossovers brings together thrillers, film noir and black comedy, while dedicated competitions cover animated features and shorts.

The festival also includes Midnight Movies, masterclasses and Connexions, a strand devoted to video games, digital creation and virtual reality. As an affiliated member of the Méliès International Festivals Federation, it runs Silver Méliès competitions for European features and shorts; the winners qualify for the Golden Méliès.
