Nordic Film Days Lübeck

Nordic Film Days Lübeck centres on cinema from the Nordic and Baltic countries, pairing narrative features, documentaries and Nordic Shorts with programmes for young audiences. Its Filmforum connects this regional focus with filmmaking from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, while the retrospective explores northern European film history. Series and Immersion 360° extend the programme beyond conventional cinema screenings.

Presented by the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, the festival dates back to 1956. The Lübeck Meetings industry programme includes discussions, masterclasses and Future North, where directors from Baltic, Sámi, Greenlandic, Faroese and northern German filmmaking communities present work in progress. The dates for the 68th edition are 4–8 November 2026 in Lübeck, Germany; an online selection runs from 4–15 November 2026.
