I Castelli Animati

I Castelli Animati focuses on international animation through two competitions: one for short films and one for graduation films from Italian and international animation schools. Its programme also includes special screenings, retrospectives, meetings and workshops for students and animation professionals.

The festival dates back to 1996 in Genzano di Roma, in the Castelli Romani area. Associazione Città dell’Animazione organises the festival, whose dedicated programme at Romics brings animation shorts and their creators to the Fiera di Roma in Rome, Italy.
