Busan Peace Film Festival examines peace through cinema, connecting questions of war and violence with discrimination, human rights, the environment and community. The festival takes place in Busan, South Korea, and dates back to 2010. Its Korean feature and short film competitions accept fiction, documentary, animation and experimental work addressing these concerns.

The programme combines competition screenings with thematic presentations on peace, conversations with filmmakers and family screenings. Screenings at BNK Busan Bank Art Cinema Corner Theater and neighbourhood libraries extend the programme across the city's old downtown.
