Short films from Korea and around the world share the programme at Busan International Short Film Festival (BISFF), alongside curated explorations of experimental cinema, animation, documentary and new screening formats. Its Guest Country programme places a national cinema in focus, while Korea and Asia sections connect local work with a wider regional context.

Organized by the nonprofit Busan International Short Film Festival Committee in Busan, South Korea, the festival traces its roots to the Korean Short Film Festival in 1980. Its history includes the Busan Asian Short Film Festival name from 2000 and its international name from 2010. The dates for the 44th edition are 22–27 April 2027, with International and Korean competitions.
