MINIKINO FILM WEEK (MFW) is an annual Bali International Short Film Festival. The eight edition will be held from Friday 2 Sept. 2022 to Saturday, 10 Sept. 2022. Festival screenings are held in micro cinemas and pop up cinemas in various places throughout Bali island. MFW8 Short Film Festival presents the international official selection short films and showcase programs that comprised of annual short film program exchange national scale (Indonesia Raja 2022), South East Asia (S-Express 2022), the annual national competition Begadang 2022, the 2022 international collaboration and network programs. Meanwhile the SHORT FILM MARKET sub-events, with exhibitions, talks & seminars, workshops, VR Room and the short film library. Minikino reaffirms that short films are cultural products with cultural and social values from the artists who live in that society. And we believe that culture can only exist and develop with exchange, not isolation.
