Fantastic cinema, Asian popular filmmaking and digital creation shape the programme of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Founded in 2000, the festival interprets fantasy broadly, from auteur films and black comedy to genre blockbusters. Its competitions cover international and Asian features and Swiss, international and Asian shorts, alongside retrospectives and programmes exploring the boundaries of genre.

NIFFF Extended examines the future of cinema through talks on digital technologies and contemporary fantasy literature, while NIFFF Invasion presents multidisciplinary events. The festival screens films in city cinemas, the Théâtre du Passage and an open-air venue. The dates for the 26th edition are 2–10 July 2027.
