Film Fest Zell is a film festival in Zell am See, Austria, run by the non-profit association Kultur Raum Zell, which has organised cultural events in the region since 2004. Johannes Schwaninger, Andreas Schöpp and Marlene Krug started the festival in 2017. It shows features, documentaries, short films and art films, most of them Austrian premieres, in a pop-up cinema in the old town. It also takes film into public space: the Cinecittà mobile cinema screens shorts in the pedestrian zone, and the Don’t mind the gap programme shows works by 13 artists on the facade of the Ferry Porsche Congress Center.

The Courageous Film Award, worth €1,000, was first presented in 2019. The most recent edition on the festival’s site ran from 3 to 6 October 2019. The organisers have paused the festival and plan to return with new formats.
