VideoBardo presents videopoetry at the intersection of experimental poetry, video art and new technologies. Its programme includes single-channel screenings, video installations, poetry readings, performances, workshops, talks and seminars. Selected works also travel to venues in Argentina and abroad.
The festival is organised by the Buenos Aires-based VideoBardo collective, which works on the preservation, research, production and dissemination of videopoetry. The collective began in 1996, and the first festival edition took place in 2004.
