OFF - Odense International Film Festival

Short films take over the former Brandts textile-factory quarter in Odense at OFF – Odense International Film Festival. Launched in 1975, the festival centres on Danish and international short filmmaking, with competitions for fiction, animation, documentary, youth selections and music videos. Curated screening blocks combine films with different themes, and visiting filmmakers introduce their work and answer audience questions.

Beyond the competitions, OFF includes open-air screenings, discussions, workshops, concerts and programmes for children and young people. The festival is part of Kulturmaskinen and also supports short-film viewing throughout the year through OFFstream. The dates for the 2027 edition in Odense are 30 August–5 September 2027.
