Many are very costly and give no chance to get selected without having previous contacts. We created Rome Independent Prisma Awards, a monthly award ceremony with live and online screenings that doesn't ask you for a foolish fee, where your film can participate with other independent movies and with world-class talents in an equal competition, within reach of everyone all around the world. Nobody else offers so much for such a small fee. 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 Rome Independent Prisma Awards was founded by Stefano Perletta in 2018. Hosted by Cinema Azzurro Scipioni, in its first year it saw Silvano Agosti as the president of the jury, a legendary italian director that has worked alongside the greatest italian professionals like Storaro, Morricone, Piovani and many others. Over the course of its second year it moved to Cinema dei Piccoli, one of the oldest movie theaters of Rome in the heart of Villa Borghese park since 1934. Our winning films have gone all the way to A-tier festivals like “May Day”, 1st annual awards winner and Oscar-shortlisted film, “Alien“ by Yeon Je-Wang and “Inanimate” by Lucia Bulgheroni that got into Cannes Cinefondation, “Pierdete entre los muertos” by Ruben Gutierrez that was showcased into the feature films at Rotterdam Film Festival and many others. We just launched our fourth yearly cycle, with a total renewal and the artistic direction curated by Marcello Di Trocchio. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗦 ▪ First of all, it is not only an online competition. We will screen the best movies among those we receive in front of our community during our events in Rome. ▪ We won't ask for multiple submissions in different categories. One submission is valid for all the 24 awards. We won't charge a hundred dollars for your submission. ▪ We will watch your movie with care and respect. ▪ All submissions get more than $40 in discounts in our partner festivals during the next months. 𝗦𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲! ▪ The most winning films, filmmakers and screenwriter stay in our Hall of Fame © forever. Selected movie’s posters get posted on our Facebook page. ▪ On the notification date you will know if you're a Finalist. Finalists are posted on Facebook and our website. ▪ Some of the finalists get nominated for our 24 monthly awards.
