Tengiz Semenov

Tengiz Semenov is a Soviet and Russian film director and producer. In 1972 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK (workshop of R. Carmen). In 1970-90 he worked for the CSDF, directed a number of documentaries. In 1990-93 he directed the documentary film directing workshop at VGIK. 1990-2000 – Director, artistic director of the film studio "Man and Time". Since 2002 – Artistic Director-Advisor to the Deputy General Director of Channel One for socio-political broadcasting. At the same time since 2000 – director of the Animos film studio. Producer of a number of documentaries and animated films.
