Kaboom Animation Festival Now an Academy Award® Qualifying Event

The Kaboom Animation Festival has achieved the status of an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival. This means that the winners of the Official Kaboom Competition, specifically in the categories of Best Short Film and Best Dutch Professional Short, will now have the opportunity to enter the prestigious Academy Award® Short Film competition.
This is a significant milestone as it allows the two winning films each year to be considered for an Oscar®.
