Venice Gap-Financing Market 2024 to Showcase 61 Global Film Projects

The Venice Gap-Financing Market, a cornerstone event of the Venice Production Bridge, will hold its 11th edition from August 30 to September 1, 2024. This significant three-day event will run during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, scheduled for August 28 to September 7, 2024.
This year, the market will showcase 61 projects from around the globe, all in the final stages of development and funding. These projects were selected from nearly 320 applications, reflecting a broad spectrum of backgrounds, stories, aesthetics, genres, and budgets. The market is recognized as a crucial event for the film and immersive industries, facilitating crucial connections between project teams and international decision-makers.
In 2024, the Venice Production Bridge will spotlight Luxembourg, Wallonia-Brussels, and Japan. This focus is supported by Film Fund Luxembourg, Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel, and JETRO, respectively.
