The highly anticipated second edition of SXSW Sydney will take place in Australia from October 14–20, 2024, showcasing a diverse mix of music, film, tech, and gaming. Building on the success of its inaugural year, this year’s event promises to deliver more than 1,000 unique experiences across various platforms.

The SXSW Sydney Conference will bring together hundreds of leading speakers from a wide range of industries. Some of the most talked-about premieres include the horror sequel "Smile 2" from director Parker Finn, the A24-backed Max and Sam Eggers’ new thriller "The Front Room," and Amy Adams’ dark comedy Nightbitch, based on Rachel Yoder's acclaimed novel. Also featured is Jason Reitman’s biopic "Saturday Night" and Alex Ross Perry’s indie documentary "Pavements."

Music lovers will also be spoiled for choice with performances from over 200 artists at the SXSW Sydney Music Festival. With a special focus on Asia-Pacific talent, the lineup includes artists such as Jorja Smith, +91 Calling, Jeshi, Ayesha Madon, and ENNY, with performances spread across 25 stages throughout the city.
