StopTrik 2024: Full Selection and Award Winners Now on Vurchel
Vurchel.com now includes the complete film lineup and award winners from the 2024 StopTrik International Film Festival, a globally renowned event celebrating stop-motion animation and experimental cinema. This year’s program featured 71 films, including competition and special sections like “Stop Motion Animation,” “Borderlands,” and “Panorama.”
Key award winners include Madeleine by Raquel Sancinetti (Audience Grand Prix for Stop Motion Animation) and Toto by Klaudia Bochniak (Audience Grand Prix for Borderlands). The Students Jury awarded Three Birds by Zarja Menart for its evocative storytelling, while Father’s Letters by Alexey Evstigneev was praised for its poignant critique of oppressive regimes.
Younger audiences also recognized exceptional works, with awards going to Hoofs on Skates by Ignas Meilūnas and All Is Not Lost by Daniel Greaves and Ruth Beni.
