CPH:DOX 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, will feature supermodel Twiggy and musician Warren Ellis presenting their respective documentaries, Twiggy and Ellis Park. The festival, running from March 19-30, includes exclusive talks and live performances, including a mini-concert by Ellis and a conversation with Twiggy and director Sadie Frost.

CPH:DOX 2025, one of the largest documentary film festivals globally, has announced the attendance of two major cultural figures: Twiggy, the iconic supermodel, and Warren Ellis, the acclaimed musician and composer. The festival, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from March 19 to 30, will host the Danish premieres of documentaries exploring their lives and passions.

Twiggy, the face of the Swinging Sixties and the world’s first supermodel, will present the documentary Twiggy, directed by Sadie Frost. This personal and star-studded film explores Twiggy’s groundbreaking career and cultural impact, featuring appearances by Dustin Hoffman, Brooke Shields, and Paul McCartney. Following the screening on March 25 at Bremen Teater, Twiggy and Frost will engage in a live conversation with the audience.

“Dame Twiggy is an icon for multiple generations, from her rise during the 1960s to her work on ‘Top Model,’” remarked Marie Erbs Ørbæk, Head of Live Events at CPH:DOX. “We are proud to welcome her to the festival.”

Warren Ellis, known for his collaborations with Nick Cave and as a member of The Dirty Three, will unveil Ellis Park, a documentary highlighting his work in establishing an animal sanctuary in Sumatra. The film delves into his partnership with animal rights activist Femke den Haas in rescuing and rehabilitating abused wildlife. On March 26 at Bremen Teater, Ellis will join a post-screening discussion, followed by a mini-concert featuring his signature violin performance.

“Warren Ellis is not only a musical genius but also a dedicated advocate for animal welfare,” said Adam Thorsmark, Head of the Music Program at CPH:DOX. “We’re thrilled to present his documentary and intimate performance.”

CPH:DOX 2025, now in its third decade, continues to attract global attention with over 200 films, talks, and art exhibitions. While the full festival program will be unveiled on February 26, 2025, this announcement sets the stage for an engaging and star-studded event in Copenhagen.

Tickets for these special events are now available on the CPH:DOX website.
