CPH:DOX Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival

CPH:DOX is Copenhagen’s international documentary film festival, founded in 2003 and presented across cinemas and cultural venues in Copenhagen, with a festival centre at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. The 2026 edition runs 11–22 March 2026 and combines film screenings with talks, debates, masterclasses and live events that place non-fiction storytelling in a wider social and artistic context. The programme includes juried competitions such as DOX:AWARD, NEW:VISION, NEXT:WAVE, F:ACT, HUMAN:RIGHTS and NORDIC:DOX, alongside an audience award. In 2026, thematic strands include Right Here, Right Now (human, civil and international rights) and BRAINWAVES, and the INTER:ACTIVE exhibition “HYPERVIGILANCE” expands the festival into immersive and digital formats.
