Within thy Walls

by Omer Sharon, Daniella Schnitzer

Friday morning in Jerusalem. Badihi, an old religious man, is vigorously posting notices that announce the hour that the Shabbat (the Jewish Saturday ritual) begins. Throughout his difficult journey all over the city, we discover the various aspects of Jerusalem – the city with a great gap between the symbolic and holy values and the people who live their daily lives in it. The movie is based on the footage that we recorded while wandering along from the entrance of Jerusalem up to the “Old City”.
