A Tale of Friendship

This story is about difficulties. It is hard to be yourself in the world of conventions, rules, traditions, duties, where everyone plays his own role. It is much more difficult if you are a king. Every minute is scheduled, each word or gesture has to be within the rules or ceremonies. So our two kings can’t say a kind word to each other. They are forced to be extremely official and pushed straight to war! Only when their grumpy advisors are asleep can the kings talk, eat sandwiches, recall childhood — and feel that on the other side of the phone there is the person who feels the same.
