March 8, 2020: Bir Günce is a desktop documentary that looks at what the “Touristic Cameras” that looked at Taksim Square during the Feminist Night March left in the dark. We watch Istanbul from the cameras of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality broadcasting live 24/7. A child playing with a red balloon, young people dancing on the street, people taking souvenir photos, the Maiden’s Tower, the Grand Bazaar… So, do the Tourist Cameras also see the Feminist Night March? March 8, 2020: Bir Günce travels in time through screenshots and records the memory of the last mass action in Istanbul before the pandemic.
