The Izmir International Short Film Festival presents short films from Turkey and abroad in cinemas and university venues across Izmir. Its Golden Cat competitions recognize fiction, animation and documentary films, while free screenings, filmmaker talks and workshops connect the programme with local audiences.
Izmir Film Lab is the festival’s project development section, combining short-film pitching with training in fundraising and presentation, alongside support from film-industry partners. The dates for the 2026 edition are 2–8 November 2026.
