In a remote Anatolian village, Halil lives in solitude, finding purpose in the companionship of Pamuk — a white lamb left behind by his late wife. As the region struggles with a prolonged famine, the villagers decide that Pamuk must be sacrificed for the upcoming Eid al-Adha. But for Halil, Pamuk is far more than a mere animal; she is a living memory of his lost love.
