Dance on Three Feet

Having just moved into a retirement home, HELGA (82) categorically rejects her new environment. When fellow resident Rose, 80, invites her to rehearse a dance for the summer party, Helga resists, but Rose's persistence gradually breaks through. On the day of the party, Rose unexpectedly passes away. Helga is shocked to learn from nurse Xavier (25) that Rose didn’t have the son she always mentioned. This revelation connects Helga to Rose's loneliness and to herself.
