As a displaced man returns home after many years, he finds himself in a ghost city, seemingly frozen in time. Captured in haunting cinematography and using phone calls with the director’s grandmother, TRACE portrays a delusional and bifurcated perception of space, making tangible what it means to be separated from one’s land.
