One day, after her father’s mustache falls off unnoticed, a little girl sneaks it away and tries it on. This gives her an idea: maybe by stealing the features that make others unique, she can find her own defining trait. She takes her mother’s hair, her grandfather’s cane, her grandmother’s bunny teeth, and even her dog’s ears. But when her family discovers her antics, she feels empty and unsure of who she really is. Her mother then gives her a small hairclip, reminding her that she can start small and build her own identity.
