In post-Dobbs rural Arkansas, teen birth rates remain among the highest in the nation, shaped by generational patterns and limited access to sex education. For pregnant teenagers with limited family support, a Christian maternity home provides housing, prenatal care, and faith-based guidance. Filmed over two years with intimate verité access, Baby/Girls remains inside the house as three young women move through pregnancy, give birth, and step into motherhood. They come from families marked by poverty, addiction, and abuse; several are daughters of teen mothers themselves, continuing cycles that span generations. The film offers a powerful portrait of lives we often cannot see.
